Lim Beef Mee

Taman Sri Tebrau Hawkers Centre in JB is where I go to for my favourite beef noodle soup. I usually buy back a couple of packets for lunch and dinner the next day too!



The Lims have been selling Teochew-style beef noodles for over 30 years and have not increased their prices in over 4 years. Soup noodles go for MYR6 per bowl while the dry version costs MYR7.



Yummy! Clear beef broth with slices of lean meat and stomach topped with salted vegetables. This version is very different from the dark soup ones we get in Singapore. It is lighter and reminds me of simple home-style fare.
