Korean Lesson 9- Where is it?

 Subject marker ~이/가
 N+이/가

 The subject marker is attached to a noun to indicate the subject of a verb or adjective. 이 is used after words that end with a consonant while 가 is used after words that end with a vowel.

Eg:
우산 있어요?
시계 세 개 있어요.

 장소(Places)
    교실       극장   대사관  도서관        문구점       병원        서점            수영장         식당     은행 
classroom  cinema  embassy  library  stationery store  hospital  bookstore  swimming pool  restaurant  bank

Place marker ~에
N+에

The place marker is used to indicate the location of something or someone. It means "be at/in (place)"
 (장소) 있어요. It's at (Place).

표현 Expressions

실례합니다. Excuse me.
~이/가 어디에 있어요? Where is ~?
~알아요? Do you know ~?
네, 알아요. Yes, I know.
아니요, 몰라요. No, I don't know.
